In this lesson, we'll learn how to make a　New Year’s decorations using arrow shape tsumami and typical flower of the New Year's, "Ume" (plum flowers).

This arrow feathers called Yabane, is a lucky pattern for kimono. It`s meaning is to ward off evil spirits.screenshot.

Besides tsumami Zaiku, there are also many antique Kanzashi with yabane that are made by engraving.
